WHY Kids
Kids rock. They love to laugh and role-play. They have natural curiosity, creativity, and compassion. Competition, anxiety, bullying, ADHD, Autism, and obesity are only a few of the challenges facing kids. Yoga can help!

With their ability to learn through moving, touching and physically experiencing, kids can adapt quickly to the discipline that yoga offers, opening themselves up to develop balance, social skills, and lasting friendships. Yoga can also help kids release anxiety, decrease hyperactivity, and manage strong emotions. It is a non-competitive way to improve concentration, memory, and learning.

Who knew that having so much fun on the mat can be an amazing way to prepare your child for school, adolescence and, eventually, adulthood! And guess what? You can join them on this joyful journey. At WHY, we encourage parents to participate in their child's yoga class, or at least watch them transform into a lion (rawr!), a dog (woof!), a tree, or just have FUN! 

If you're ready to foster your child's curiosity though yoga, jump in and join a WHY Kids or WHY Tweens class. We have something for new moms, too! Our Baby & Me series will provide you and your baby with a playful opportunity to gain strength and flexibility while nurturing intimacy in the early developmental months.
