What makes our training special?

  • Our 300-hour program brings together talented and experienced instructors who have been practicing, training, and teaching for decades. WHY has been a leader among yoga studios in Connecticut and New England for 25 years. We have offered a 200 hour teacher training for the last 15 years, as well as a variety of other trainings, including Yin, Restorative, Trauma, Ashtanga, Kids Yoga, Yoga4Cancer, Prison Yoga Project, Therapeutic Yoga, and Reiki.

  • This hands-on training will promote an individualized learning experience, while also supporting every student in finding their authentic voice and developing strong leadership skills both on and off the mat. Everyone will be encouraged to tap into their unique gifts so they can make a positive impact in their communities.

  • One of the most valuable aspects about our teacher training is the meaningful bonds created with other dedicated teachers, which builds an incredible community of energy, support, and learning.

  • Our 300-hour program includes basic and advanced hands-on assists to further your knowledge and confidence in supporting students. You will establish a stronger foundation for assisting and building trust through physical connection.
