Join us for an experiential training program that seamlessly integrates Yoga Anatomy with the exploration of the Subtle Energy Body. This program is designed for yoga practitioners, teachers who wish to deepen their understanding of how physical postures influence and interact with the energetic aspects of the body. Participants will learn how to utilize asana to awaken, balance, and harmonize the subtle energy systems, enhancing well-being and spiritual growth.
Program Objectives:
Understand the concept of the subtle energy body and its components, including chakras, nadis, koshas and prana vayus
Explore the interplay between physical postures (asanas) and energetic principles
Learn practical techniques to enhance energy flow through asana practice, breathwork, and mindfulness
Develop a personalized approach to utilizing asana for energetic healing and balance
Cultivate a deeper connection to self-awareness and consciousness through the integration of physical and energetic practices
Training Components:
1. Introduction to the Subtle Energy Body
Overview of the subtle energy system in yoga philosophy, including Chakras, Nadis, Koshas, and Prana Vayus
Discussion of how the subtle body relates to physical health, emotional well-being, and spiritual development
2. The Role of Asana in Energy Flow
Understanding how specific asanas can activate and balance different Chakras and energy pathways (Nadis)
Exploration of the anatomical and energetic principles behind key postures
3. Pranayama (Breathwork) Techniques
Introduction to pranayama practices that support energy flow and enhance the effects of asana
Techniques to cultivate awareness of breath and its impact on the subtle body
4. Asana Practice with Energetic Intent
Guided asana sequences designed to target specific chakras and energy pathways.
Focus on cultivating mindfulness and awareness of energy sensations during practice
Integration of mudras (hand gestures) and bandhas (energy locks) to enhance energetic effects
5. Meditation and Visualization
Techniques to deepen the connection to the subtle body through meditation and visualization
Guided visualizations that promote awareness of energy flow and balance

Kelly Bay, RYT-500, C-IAYT
Kelly Bay is an RYT-500 hour yoga teacher, a C-IAYT yoga therapist, and a Licensed Massage Therapist. She completed her 200-hour Tantra Hatha yoga training in 2012, a second 200-hour Doaist yoga teacher training in 2014, and her 500-hour yoga therapist certification through the Center for Integrative Yoga Studies. Her personal experiences have taught her that the human body and brain are capable of healing beyond our ability to comprehend. Kelly has been leading and developing Anatomy and Yoga Teacher Trainings for many years, and skillfully weaves her understanding of physiology, healing, and body systems into all her work.
